What stays on your computer, what leaves it, and what this site records.
On your computer
Auturis runs on your own computer. Your graph, your conversations, your test results and your
settings are kept in a folder called .tca-kg in your home folder. We have no copy
of them and no way to see them.
- The app talks to itself over a connection that only your own computer can reach.
- Your conversations are saved so you can pick them up again. You can turn this off in
Settings, which also deletes what was saved.
- When you install a new version, the app first copies that folder into a backups folder
inside it, and keeps the last three copies.
- Your API key is kept in a file in the same folder. It is not encrypted: anyone who can use
your computer account could read it. Treat it like a password, and if you think it has
leaked, delete it at the provider and make a new one.
What leaves your computer
The reasoning is done by an AI model you choose, using your own key. To do its work, Auturis
sends that model what it needs: what you write, any document you attach, and the parts of
your graph that bear on the question. It goes straight from your computer to the provider,
never through us.
- OpenRouter: Auturis accepts only hosts that keep no copy of your requests
and do not train on them. In Settings you can also limit it to hosts in the United States.
- Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), OpenAI, DeepSeek, Parasail: your
provider's own terms for API use apply.
- The Claude Code plug-in: model calls run on your Claude subscription,
under Anthropic's terms for it.
- Web search: with a Gemini, Claude or OpenAI key, searches go to that same
provider. GLM and DeepSeek have no search of their own; if you add a Tavily key in Settings,
their searches go to Tavily, under its terms.
The app's typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google sees your computer's internet address
when the app opens, as it does for most websites. Nothing you write goes with it.
Nothing else leaves your computer. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting and no usage
tracking.
What this site records
- When you get access: the agreement form records your name, your email
address, the time you agreed and the internet address you agreed from. That is the record of
your agreement, and your personal download link is tied to it. The record also notes which
platforms you have downloaded, so a repeat download is not counted twice.
- Counts without names: how many people view the agreement page, agree,
and download for each platform.
- The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles requests in order to deliver the pages. We add
no analytics or advertising of our own.
We use this record only to manage beta access, and we do not sell or share it. To see,
correct or delete your record, email
